The Educational Talent Search Program is committed to advancing and defending the ideal of equal access to education and opportunities for lifelong learning. ETS targets youths, between the ages of 11 and 19, who have the desire and potential to succeed in post-secondary education. Each year, the ETS Program encourages 1000 secondary school students to continue their education through graduation w

ith the eventual goal of entering a post-secondary institution. The ETS Education Advisors provide a variety of services to area public school students: financial aid awareness, career counseling, college application procedures, cultural awareness, college trips, life skills, all designed to assist students with enrollment procedures at the college of their choice.

Today, TRIO Talent Search (ETS) hosted our annual Near Peer event. This event brings 9th grade TRIO ETS participants to Arkansas Northeastern College where they are able to meet current college students, explore college career paths, learn about the post secondary admission process, participate in Allied Tech activities, and see how they can start earning college credits while in highschool! We had students from various schools across Pemiscot & Mississippi county. A lot was learned and fun was HAD! ❀️ πŸ’«
