Recorded Sound Archives at FAU Libraries

Recorded Sound Archives at FAU Libraries Sound Archive within FAU Libraries Special Collections committed to the preservation and digitization of sound recordings as cultural and historic artifacts.

The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) at Florida Atlantic University Libraries was established following significant donations of materials to FAU Libraries from various donors. The Recorded Sound Archives features three major collections: Jazz, Judaic, and Vintage. It is estimated that all three collections together total almost 150,000 recordings. Over 100,000 audio tracks have been digitized from these original recordings and are featured on the RSA website (rsa.fau.edu).
