SBU Theatre

SBU Theatre SBU Theatre Students in the SBU Theatre program study all aspects of theatre, including acting, directing, design, playwriting, management, and more.

In an effort to provide students the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge in a hands-on experience, the SBU Theatre program produces three Mainstage productions each year, including a musical or opera. Students also find acting and design opportunities in our Second-Stage events such as 24-hour-theatre, improv shows, and student-directed plays.

Last year, we asked for donations of drills, saws, screws, etc, and received many very generous donations. (THANK YOU!)
Now, we would like to put those tools to good use...

This year, might you consider making a monetary donation, as we seek to remodel the Media Studio into a multi-functioning Black Box Theater, Recording Studio, and Podcast space.
