Do you want to be teacher?

The Thomas Teaching Cooperative is an innovative new teacher residency program offered through the Lunder School of Education at Thomas College. This “earn while you learn” model allows students to spend their first two years in immersive, face-to-face coursework on campus, followed by two years of blended study while working in a Maine school. Participants will gain hands-on experience, weekly expert mentorship, and graduate with a year of classroom experience already completed—all while reducing student debt.

Students employed in certain Maine school districts, such as Waterville, are also eligible for significant tuition benefits during their full-time employment.
