Happy first of August! This week, we're excited to feature Dr. Eleonora Villegas-Reimers , clinical professor and chair of the Teaching & Learning Department at Wheelock College, Boston University. Dr. Villegas-Reimers is committed to teacher professional development, in part through her partnership work with the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE). Most recently, Dr. Villegas-Reimers served as a member of AACTE's Networked Improvement Community (NIC) focused on recruiting more candidates of color into the teaching profession, particularly in special education.
