At the College of General Studies, we offer students a two-year interdisciplinary liberal arts core curriculum. We believe that an educated person must have a firm grounding in the liberal arts: natural science, social science, humanities, a

nd rhetoric. We know that our students receive the same advantages offered by the finest liberal arts colleges—small classes taught by full-time faculty with PhDs in their fields—while they are enrolled in one of the best research universities in the country. Our alumni are successful in communications, business, medicine, law, government, and education. CGS Academic Advisor, Jordan Rosenburg (she/her/hers) is back for another tomorrow! In case you missed her last time, Jordan has been working in higher education for over seven years, being an academic advisor for five of those seven. Jordan has also adjunct taught within communication and media studies for five years. In her free time, Jordan loves traveling and going to concerts with friends, as well as hanging out at home with her labradoodle, Henry Edward.
