ā€œI can’t believe I am writing this. To reflect on President means admitting it is over, which is something I haven’t entirely gathered yet. Being President has and always will be an experience I hold near and dear to my heart. Every moment spent with my amazing and strong LT, learning about the ins and outs of our chapter, and getting the opportunity to meet and bond with FSL individuals was the most invaluable experience. I am so lucky. I remember as a new member talking with Shay Blechinger-Slocum, she asked if I wanted to hold any positions and as an 18 year old freshman I said, ā€˜President, of course’. Thanks to all of the sisters in the Phi Eta chapter my dream as a mono-ridden, baby freshman turned into a reality. I am ever grateful for the sisters who welcomed me in open arms in 2019 and whose arms continue to embrace me throughout my presidency and onward. It is because of the strong sisters of Delta Phi Epsilon that I was able to do this job and why I loved it so much day in and day out. This chapter gave me confidence, a home, people to love and cherish, role models, space to grow, and something to miss when I leave. I will never say being President was easy, but I know it was worthwhile. I grew more than I ever dreamed, but I also saw so much good be poured into our chapter over the last year. I hope this chapter continues to be the same amazing thing for every single individual in this chapter currently and in the future. Always and forever, with love YITS ā¤ļøā€ Gaby Rabinovich

ā€œI am so grateful to have been able to serve as the Vice President of Recruitment this past year. Being so hands in the recruitment process meant so much to me, because I truly owe so much to this chapter. I was honored to have hopefully helped many others find a community in our sorority over this past year. This role also taught me so much about myself and what I’m capable of and I am so thankful for that. I can’t wait to watch our chapter continue to grow over the next few years and thank you to everyone who helped me throughout the year

ā€œI approach the end of my term as VPDEI filled with gratitude for how much this role has taught me. A true culture of DEI gives power back to the societally/systemically marginalized and I’m proud to say that the sisters of Dphie foster this understanding. We made long overdue changes but also took proactive steps to ensure a safe environment where you are embraced exactly as you are. In this role I developed as a leader, challenged yet always empowered. I credit the remarkable individuals of LT 2022 as well as the sisters of this chapter for my ability to fulfill this role. There is much work to be done in our world and I look forward to seeing Dphie continue to grow, as we always strive to be and do better. Love you all.ā€ Abby KangšŸ’œ

ā€œI have grown immensely in my year as DPhiE’s VPP and I am so grateful to have been able to contribute to the chapter in such a meaningful way! In joining Deeph, I was immediately inspired by the chapter’s passions for ANAD and CFF. I remain impressed by DPhiE’s commitment to philanthropy, but now I also feel a real sense of pride for my chapter and what we accomplished together- raising almost $30,000 for various philanthropies this year! It was incredibly rewarding to work with our philanthropies and also to plan a semi and formal for sisters to have some well-deserved fun! Whether I was learning excel functions to track attendance or begging frat bros to wear tiaras, I had a great time and I learned a lot about myself and my amazing sisters. Thank you to my fellow LT members, my fabulous VPP team, and everyone who supported me in this role and beyond :)) YITS

ā€œI’ve learned so much during my time as VPO about myself and about what sisterhood means to me. Last November, I decided to run last minute, taking myself by surprise as I never saw myself in leadership. I ran because this chapter had given me so much, and believed it deserved a VPO who loved them enough to do the job despite some of the unglamorous duties. Being supported by my sisters and the rest of LT throughout this year has shown me not only that I am a leader, but that I am a confident one. I am so grateful to have been trusted enough to lead Phi Eta with 7 other brilliant women, and I look forward to making my transition into my graduating semesterā¤ļø thank you for the opportunity to serve as vpo! yits!ā€ Eden Gordon

ā€œVPMD has helped me grow in so many ways. It gave me an outlet for creativity, as well as gave me a voice and responsibility int his chapter. New member education has to be one of my favorite aspects of being in greek life, knowing that what I do directly has an impact on the future of the chapter and those who will be in charge even after I graduate. I loved how fulfilling this role was and all of leadership opportunities it has given me. I am not the same person I was when I joined deeph in the fall of my freshman year, and I’d like to think that my positions and LT has been one of the main drivers for who I became and who I am today.ā€ - Grace Werosta šŸ«¶šŸ¼

ā€œBeing Member at Large has taught me so much about myself, and I can see how much I have grown from it in the last year. But it also has shown me the love that these members have for this chapter, and their own desire to continue to grow. This group inspires me to be better, and I am so proud to call them my sisters. Any leadership position has its challenges, but I have learned that you can always look to the people who elected you for the answers you might not have. I have only grown closer with this chapter and its members over the last year and I am so excited for what’s to come. I love these members and am eternally grateful to DPhiE for the opportunities, friendships, and memories it has given me to far. Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your MAL! YITS

2022 Leadership Team spotlights! First up we have Casey Kamali, our Vice President of Academic Affairs.

ā€œIt’s been such a pleasure to serve as Vice President of Academic Affairs this past year, and I’ve loved the opportunity to support sisters in achieving their academic goals! Scholarship is a foundational value for DPhiE, and it has been so inspiring to watch my sisters embody that value to the fullest extent. They constantly strive to be their best selves while also working to help others. Collaborating with this incredible leadership team has been such a great experience, and I couldn’t imagine doing this job without them. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way!ā€

Thank you Casey for all your hard work this yearšŸ’œ
