Professor Emeritus Bob Goldman was selected as the recipient of the 2021 Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award by the Boston chapter of the American Statistics Association. BCASA will recognize Bob's 48 years of accomplishments in statistics and data science education at Simmons University with an award presentation and talk by Bob on "Personal and General Reflections on 50 years of Teaching Statistics" at 6pm on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

An entrepreneur for over 30 years, Ande Lyons ’89MBA champions startups as a live stream host. “Being an entrepreneur is the best personal development program you can undertake,” says Lyons. “The self-awareness you gain from launching a business will be with you forever. You’ll be changed for life.”

Lyons understands the struggles of starting a business. An entrepreneur for over 30 years, she has started four of her own businesses in that time. Now she hosts StartUp Life LIVE Show, a weekly live stream show offering business advice to entrepreneurs.
