A Celebration of Life
Kyle Isaiah Felix was born on July 18, 2000 in Boston, Massachusetts. Isaiah walked into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 17, 2019 at the age of eighteen.
Isaiah loved so many, and was loved by so many more. He had an energy and spark that with only one encounter, you would remember him for life. He was a joy to be around. Isaiah loved life and loved his family. He was an intelligent, loving and kind young man with an exceptional sense of humor. Isaiah loved to dance and took pride in his appearance, he was a sharp dresser! He enjoyed friendly competition with his cousins, whether it was who dressed better, who played ball better, who was smarter or who had the latest dance moves.
Isaiah was a senior at James Bowie High School in Austin, Texas. Despite his illness, he was a good student, doing whatever it takes to maintain his grades. Isaiah was looking forward to graduation and attending Berry College in the fall where he planned on majoring in Animal Biology.
Isaiah fought a long and difficult battle with extreme courage and dignity. He rarely was discouraged in the face of radiation, surgery and numerous rounds of chemo. In the midst of all his struggles, he maintained his radiant and brilliant smile that was such an integral part of who he was. His smile will be forever imprinted in our memories.
Isaiah is survived by his parents Sheri Ann Felix-Jeantillorme and Pierre Jeantillorme; his sister Kelsie Jeantillorme; his maternal grandparents, Raymonde Felix and Marc Felix; his paternal grandmother, Ina Cook; his aunts and uncles, Hans Felix and Jennifer Felix, Cassandre Felix, Angie Pean and Michel Pean; first cousins, Marc, Julien, Sydne, Kelis, Cassidy, and Kendall; numerous other cousins and family members. While we are immensely saddened by a life taken too soon, we find comfort in knowing that the Lord had better plans for Isaiah.
