Congratulations to Dr. Chelsey Green on being named to Billboard’s 2026 Women in Music list 👏

In 2025, Dr. Green was named chair of the Recording Academy Board of Trustees, becoming the youngest person and the first Black woman to hold the position in the organization’s 68-year history. An associate professor in Berklee’s String Department, she continues to shape the future of music through artistry, advocacy, and education.

Berklee College of Music honored Grammy Award–winning artists Jacob Collier, Jill Scott, and Vinnie Colaiuta at its 2026 commencement ceremony, held at Agganis Arena on Saturday, May 9.

The three visionary artists were awarded honorary doctorates in recognition of their extraordinary contributions to music and their lasting impact on artists around the world.
