About the event:
Join Arnold Worldwide and Havas Media, leading Public Relations professionals, to discuss how to build and maximize your personal brand. Hear from branding experts Julianna Akuamoah (Chief Talent Officer, Arnold & Havas Media Boston), Marcela Cruz (Senior Manager, Talent Programming & Acquisitions), and Jane O'Neil (VP, Director of Recruiting, Arnold Worldwide) on topics including:

Applications for B.L.A.C.K./L.A.T.I.N.X. are still open! Check out one of our guest speakers, Crystal Haynes!

Starting from humble beginnings in her hometown of Springfield, Massachusetts as a teen reporter for the Republican newspaper, Crystal has been a journalist for nearly 20 years. Over a decade of that in local television. From the chaos and fear of the Marathon bombings, to the streets of Boston with Black Lives Matter protesters, Crystal has strived to tell the stories that matter. Crystal is the founder and co-producer of Boston 25’s award-winning Boston’s Black History: Inspiring our Future series. And examines access to education for marginalized communities in her Equity in Education series and tracks the impact of the housing crisis on residents in Massachusetts in her Priced Out pieces. She is a two-time Emmy nominated reporter and recently was awarded a 2019 Salute to Excellence award in Specialty and Long Form Reporting by the National Association of Black Journalists. She graduated with Honors from Emerson College, and is in the Masters Degree Media Advocacy program at Northeastern University. She is passionate about mentorship and works with Boston Partners in Education, Leadership in Action, No Books No Ball, and is a volunteer member of the Arlington Human Rights Commission.
