This is a picture of Week 2 Session of the âPolished Kids/Tweensâ Etiquette Program, at the The Etiquette Factory. In today's fast-paced, technology-driven society, teaching children manners is something that is more crucial than ever. At the Etiquette Factory we help children develop social skills, show them how to interact in a polite manner with people, and teach them to treat others with respect. We help them build their confidence and realize that they are their biggest asset. They also learn how to avoid conflicts using emotional intelligence, conquer peer pressure, make wise decisions, the importance of first impressions and dress attire, proper introductions, setting the table, proper table manners and dining etiquette.
The program is 12 weeks long and classes are once a week on Saturdays. The program ends with an oral and practical exam in the form of a formal Dinner Gala Party, where they will have to execute everything they were taught in order to receive their certificates and pins, and be inducted to the âPolished Society.â Their pins can be worn wherever they go as a proud symbol of their choice to be the best version of themselves. In order to keep them on track, there will be follow up sessions, Polished parties, movie nights, talent expo nights etc. Our aim is to help the youths of St. Maarten thrive in a positive environment.
The lack of good etiquette leads usually leads to unfavorable life decisions and outcomes that will negatively affect their lives. Good etiquette and manners will open doors and take them places that money cannot.
