POSITION:
The ideal candidate will possess all skills needed to integrate on-line and social media marketing programs to achieve the accompanying stated objectives.
The position can be permanent part-time (2 to 3 days per week) or full-time with additional responsibilities linked to added retail tasks.
Candidate must be focused, self-directed and creative. Having basic photography, photo and video editing and graphics/layout skills are required, with more advanced skills a big plus.
An outward personality, ability to communicate with articulation and interact with vendors and clients via face-to-face, telephone and electronic media is required.
Requires complete fluency with FaceBook, InstaGram, Pinterest and Twitter, with the ability to perform and document detailed analytics on each platform.
Ideal first-time position for a recent graduate or someone more seasoned. Salary or hourly rate to be negotiated based on experience and capabilities.
OBJECTIVES:
1. Increase business by reaching and marketing to a target age demographic ranging from 22 to 40 years of age, focused on Engagement Rings and bridal jewelry via social media platforms and website.
2. Maximize exposure of Elyse Jewelers by utilizing, developing and integrating as many social media platforms as possible.
3. Promote breaking Bridal Jewelry campaigns:
a). “If It Rains On You, The Rings Are On Us”
b). Launch of broadcast ad campaign with NBC Sports: “Patriots Game Day weather
brought to you by Elyse Jewelers, where if it Rains on You, the Rings Are On Us!”
c). “Survival Guide To Your Wedding”
STRATEGY AND IMMEDIATE ACTION ITEMS
1. Focus on creating quality written and visual content to release on a scheduled basis.
a). Attract the attention of a specific consumer audience as it relates to our promotions
b). Accurately promote and showcase the best products the store has to offer
2. Manage and integrate on-line, print and marketing activities to all channels, trade organizations and member associations; integrate with our PR person, Peggy Rose
3. Work with our website company, iShowcase and SEO coordinator, Tracy Hearn to update the Elyse Jewelers website and keep content current.
4. Design, create and implement online, interactive promotions and content.
5. Assist with launch of Elyse blog and vlog of “Diamonds-101” program.
