ing and problem solving grounded in business theory and best practices. Our core curriculum focuses heavily on critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills. A decade ago, UW Bothell became the first school to offer an MBA program focused on technology management in the Puget Sound region. In 2009, we started offering a Leadership MBA program in Bellevue, at the Eastside Leadership Center, to meet the needs of professionals and businesses in the Bellevue-Redmond and adjoining areas. In a recent ranking of part-time MBA programs across the nation, our program was ranked 51st in the nation and 3rd in the Pacific Northwest. Our PNW-MBA 2020 conference of University of Washington Bothell MBA Programs slated for April 18th is cancelled due to Covid-19. Our MBAA officers have truly risen to the occasion. In lieu they are working on programming a number of virtual events. The first of these is a webinar on High Performance Teams. They note:

Joe is a proponent of collaboration, accountability, and accelerating growth through empowered teams. In this conversation with MBAA member Kellen Robinson, we ask Joe about his philosophy for leading successful teams and lessons learned along the way.

Joe served as the Senior Vice President and Commercial Leader at Philips Healthcare and also holds the position of Board Chairman for MITA (Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance). In 2017, Senator Elizabeth Dole nominated him to serve on the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans’ Family, Caregiver, and Survivor Advisory Committee. Joe has a B.S. in Healthcare Administration from Columbia Union College and co-authored “Radiology Business Practice: How to Succeed”.

Great work by our University of Washington Bothell School of Business students with Stanwood Camano Food Bank. The is serving more people more efficiently thanks to inventory and “flow” advice from two teams of graduate students from Operations Management courses taught by Assistant Prof. Gulru Ozkan-Seely.
This best exemplifies our goal to be the “Preeminent Business School with a Heart”. There is no better story illustrating that concept for me than the work of Özkan-Seely and our students. In these days of income disparity and widening inequality, that our MBA students, who have full time jobs and choices of projects, chose to do this gladdens me. That they have had an impact where it matters makes it truly special. Read below for the full story:
