The magic of being an Alpha Phi 🪄💫🧚🏼‍♀️

Our Vice President of Health, Wellness & Accountability, mattea drake , and Vice President of New Member Education, AVA , had the incredible opportunity to attend Alpha Phi’s Disney Leadership Institute at Walt Disney World! 🏰

Through immersive workshops and hands-on experiences, they explored intentional leadership, effective communication, and the importance of creating meaningful connections. We are SO proud of these women for representing Boulder Alpha Phi and bringing everything they learned back to our sisterhood! 💛

Starting the year with clean cars and an even better cause 🫧🚗♥️

We had so much fun at our annual Alpha Phi x Chi Psi Car Wash! Thank you to everyone who stopped by, donated, and helped us support women’s heart health and multiple sclerosis. We’re so grateful for all the love and support, and of course for Chi Psi Colorado for making this event so special with us!

There’s nothing quite like Preference at Boulder Alpha Phi. Tonight, we hope every PNM follows her heart and chooses the place where she can be fully herself, deeply loved, and completely certain that she belongs. 🩵

DATEBOOK 3. 💛

These past few days have reminded us just how special it is to have a sisterhood that builds our confidence, gives us a sense of belonging, and stays with us through every stage here at CU. Feeling especially lucky to call Alpha Phi ours tonight. 🌟

During Datebook 3, we find ourselves coming back to why it matters to find a sisterhood that will carry you through all four years. After sharing some of our “Why Alpha Phi’s,” we wanted to give a snapshot of the experiences that have shaped our members over the years. 💌

Four years of Boulder Alpha Phi, from freshman year to senior year…

FRESHMAN YEAR! 👼🏼

Freshman year is full of firsts! For our newest members, it all begins with running home on Bid Day, followed by a new member class social with a different activity planned each year. Not long after comes Phi Fair, complete with cotton candy, farm animals, and plenty of time spent together.

Red Dress Gala is another freshman year favorite, bringing our philanthropy and families together during Family Weekend. Then comes Big/Little, when new members find the Alpha Phi families that often become such a special part of their experience. Initiation closes out the new member period and connects each new member to generations of Alpha Phis who came before her and those who will come after. 🤍

SOPHOMORE YEAR! 👯‍♀️

For many of our members, sophomore year means calling the 1015 home. With around 60 women under one roof, every night feels like a sleepover.

Work Week brings the chapter back together before recruitment, with all that hard work celebrated on Bid Day. Soon after, Ivy Linking gives sophomores the chance to get to know the newest member class and potentially meet their future littles. It’s also a year when many members begin stepping into chapter leadership, taking on new responsibilities and finding new ways to grow within Alpha Phi. 💫

JUNIOR YEAR! 🤸🏼‍♀️

By junior year, the Alpha Phi experience can take members far beyond the 1015. Some serve as Rho Gams during recruitment or represent their chapters through Panhellenic leadership, while others move into passed-down houses on the hill with their friends.

It’s also a year filled with opportunities for growth beyond the chapter, from career and academic programming like the Disney Institute to internships and other campus involvement. And for many members, junior year means studying abroad, sometimes living in the same city as sisters and othe

Your midweek reminder to take care of YOU. 🧘‍♀️🪷

Take some time to rest and reset in between rounds. Recruitment can be overwhelming, so give yourself some grace and remember to be proud of yourself for taking such an exciting step! 🩷
