HUGE congratulations to CEEE's Ryan Vachon—research associate and expert film producer—winner of the 2026 Heartland Emmy Award for Best Topical Documentary for his film, "Fracture." 👏

Ryan describes the film as one that "follows a daring team of scientists on a high-stakes mission to drill beneath the Greenland Ice Sheet, battling brutal snowstorms and extreme conditions to extract ancient rock samples that may reveal when the ice last vanished — and offer urgent clues about the future of global sea levels." 🌊
