LifeSong

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for an incredible year. Thank you to all the churches that invited us to join in their ministry, the youth groups that let us hang out all weekend, and the support at ONU that made it all possible. We are blessed to have met every single one of you and worship as the Kingdom of God. Thank you for praying for our ministry and for supporting us both on and off campus.

Today marks the end of the semester, and also the end of Lifesong. For over a decade Lifesong bands travelled across the Midwest worshipping with countless congregations. Next year marks the beginning of a new chapter for all of us, and the end of Lifesong's time at ONU. So today, as the last Lifesong group, we'd like to thank those that came before us, and recognize that Lifesong became what it is today because of those that invested so much before us.

Lifesong holds a special place in our hearts, and it is no doubt sad to see it end. However, this isn't where the story ends. All of us will be serving in different capacities this summer and coming school year. Erin and Taylor will be starting a new ministry team much like Lifesong. Bryce and Timmy will be joining "City on a Hill" - another traveling ministry team at ONU. Cole will be joining a ministry team similar to Bryce and Timmy's called "At the Well", and Jacob will be interning at his church this summer and involved in campus ministry this fall.

So blessed by the amount of people who braved the rain (and hail) and came to Party With Jesus last night for Lifesong's End of year concert. It has been an honor and a privileged to see this ministry grow and expand over the last 4 years and I know it is in good hands for the next year.

Last night was the perfect night to worship and refocus. Despite the emotions of this chapter closing on my life, I am at peace with what God has done, is doing, and will continue to do through these people that I know and love. My time with Lifesong has come to a close, but Lifesong has so much more room to grow. :)
