Edwards, an associate professor at St. Francis College, completed her PhD in the Fall of 2021 at BGSU. The book, based on her dissertation research, examines how far-right groups develop as online communities that circulate Islamophobic hate-speech. Edwards thanks Dr. Radhika Gajjala and Dr. Timothy Messer-Kruse, her chair and committee member respectively, as well as all the department faculty and staff who supported her work.

โ€œWithout the my experience in the ACS program I wouldnโ€™t have been able to carry out an interdisciplinary and data-driven project like this.โ€
