The purpose of The Mahurin Honors College is to offer high-achieving young scholars the environment of a small, highly selective college, while providing the resources and benefits of a large public university. This combination of outstanding research opportunities with an intimate and rigorous intellectual environment not only produces nationally recognized scholars and globally engaged leaders i

t changes lives. Equally as important, the MHC experience is helping these scholars make their educational and career dreams come true. We learned all about the significance of the types of rock in the cave, how it was originally explored, and saw many interesting formations.

🥞 4:00–6:00 PM
End-of-Semester Pancake Night is BACK! Join us in the Honors College Multipurpose Room for the most anticipated event of the semester—hosted by all HCIC departments and open to everyone!

🧶 12:45–2:05 PM
Take a break before finals at our De-Stress Event! The Granny Hobbies Honors Colloquium will be showcasing their projects + providing relaxing activities like coloring, origami, and yarn crafts in the multipurpose room.

🎬 7:00 PM
Wrap up the day with a Movie Under the Stars! Hosted by the Honors Social Planning Board & COMMS 349, we’ll be watching Grown Ups while also sharing important mental health resources and support available at WKU on the HCIC back lawn.

It’s going to be a busy (and fun!) day—come to one or stay for all. We’d love to see and and all WKU students there ❤️
