We will be hosting three MSA Information Sessions in February for those interested in applying for our Fall 2018 cohort. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the program, to meet current MSA students, and to attend an MSA course. The dates and times are as follows:
• Thursday, February 1st, 8:15-9:15 am
• Thursday, February 15th, 1:00-2:00 pm
• Thursday, February 22nd, 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Graduate Student Senate is currently accepting nominations for the 2016-2017 Senate Executive Committee (SEC). The following positions are open for election:

President (must have been involved with GSS for 1 year)
Vice President (must have been involved with GSS for 1 semester)
Treasurer
Academic Affairs Representative
Student Affairs Representative
Secretary
Representative-at-Large (2 positions)

Nominations will continue at the next General Assembly, Friday, March 18 from 3-5 p.m. in the McFall Gallery. All those interested must be present to be nominated. FREE office supplies and other stuff!

"Once Upon a Desk" is a periodic event that offers a wide variety of surplus office supplies which are made available for free to BGSU offices, departments, faculty, staff and students. Why buy new when you can reuse. Many supplies are brand new; others are gently used. Save money and help the environment at the same time! Binders, hanging folders, file folders, tape dispensers, desk top organizers and more!

The event has moved to the second floor of Kreischer Quad. The kick-off event for this new location will take place Friday, March 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In addition to school & office Supplies, this kick-off event will feature a limited amount of misc. items such as BG spirit gear, art supplies, bulletin boards, office decor and much, much more! Open to all current staff, faculty and students. Valid BGSU ID required. Enter north stairway door of Kreischer Sun Dial Dining (facing Rec Center) and follow signs. Shanklin Colloquium submissions due TODAY!

Submissions for the Shanklin Colloquium are due TODAY by midnight. First place receives $300, second place receives $150, and third place receives $75. You can submit in one of three categories: conference paper, poster session, or a creative presentation. The Colloquium takes place on Tuesday, April 12.

NEW this year: If your paper has co-authors on it, and they are not submitting for the award, a co-author waiver needs to be signed by all co-authors who are not presenting prior March 4. http://bit.ly/1OL9s3s
