Congratulations to Dr. Bonnie G. Berger, retired BGSU faculty member and former chair of Human Movement, Sport, and Leisure Studies, on receiving the Association for Applied Sport Psychology Foundation Distinguished Contributions to Science Award! 🎉

This award celebrates a lifetime of contributions to sport, exercise, and performance psychology — and Dr. Berger’s impact has been tremendous. Through more than 50 years of research, teaching, mentoring, and leadership, she has helped shape the field and inspired generations of students and scholars.

We’re proud to celebrate Dr. Berger and this well-deserved national recognition. Congratulations! 👏

🧡 EDHD Student Highlight: Tayla Manuel! 🧡

Meet Tayla Manuel, a junior majoring in Special Education at BGSU! 🧡🤎

Tayla is making the most of her BGSU experience as President of the Special Education Ambassadors Organization, a member of the University Dance Alliance, and a participant in the Honors College and Honors Learning Community.

Highlighted by her instructor, Tiffany Lloyd, Tayla is being recognized for her professionalism, active engagement, attentiveness, consistent attendance, and genuine commitment to learning. She exemplifies what it means to take preparation for the teaching profession seriously!

Professor Lloyd says “The habits we build today help shape the educators we become tomorrow. Congratulations, Tayla on being a wonderful example of professionalism in practice!”
