It all began on April 5, 1895, at the University of Arkansas when four young women, with the help of a local dentist, established the secrets and symbolism that today bind over 260,000 women. This small band of women founded Chi Omega after realizing a need for an organization that would foster both friendship and respect for the potential and inherent value of women. Over the years, Chi Omega has

provided its members with unique opportunities in leadership, scholarship, and lifelong friendship - striving to provide each Sister with a commitment to personal integrity, excellence in academic and intellectual pursuits, intergenerational participation, community service, leadership opportunities and social enrichment.

Hats off to Sisterhood 💖

Chloe Gage, an active of Beta Gamma Chapter of Chi Omega at the University of Louisville, was involved in a very serious car accident on July 1st. So far she has undergone 4 surgeries and is still being treated for her extensive injuries. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

As a Bowling Green Local, many of our sisters know her personally and have amazing things to say. She is such a caring person and is very passionate about helping others which is reflected in her involved in Louisville Panhellenic, SheBecame, raiseRed, and UofL Nursing.

Please help us support Chloe and her ongoing medical expenses by purchasing a limited edition hat! 40% of all proceeds raised will be donated to the GoFundMe page started by her family.

“Chi Omega, where do I even begin?When I first walked into this chapter, I knew I was surrounded by strong, confident women who would only push me to become a better version of myself. I knew I wanted to embody all the values this organization stands for just because of the women around me - inspiring me everyday. I chose this sisterhood because I knew I would grow the most as a woman. Chi Omega resembles authenticity, confidence, and resilience. Each one of these women bring something unique to our chapter and without them we wouldn’t be complete. Looking back on these last four years, I can only smile at the memories I was so fortunate enough to make. There’s only 3 months left and i’m counting down the days slowly wishing for more time. Although going through recruitment was at times stressful and a little intimidating, I immediately fell in love with Chi Omega because of its’ authenticity. My sisters give me a sense of home away from home and push me to be the best version of myself! I love Chi Omega with my whole great! “Hello!! I’m Sam Bodemann and I’m the current WKU Panhellenic President. I am the former President DEI chair of Chi Omega as well. The positions I held in Chi Omega made me step out of my comfort zone to lead a group of well rounded women. The women in this chapter helped my confidence grow in these positions and have shaped me into the person I am today. Panhellenic President has been nothing but fun so far. I am so excited to meet new people and further my experience in leading strong women! I am grateful for all the opportunity that WKU greek life has given me:)”

“Hi!! I was the previous Recruitment Chair for Chi Omega! This position brought me so much joy being able to lead our chapter through such an exciting time, and I was able to build stronger relationships with the women in our chapter and will forever be grateful for that. It also taught me the importance of different perspectives and personalities: each woman in our chapter is different in many ways, which is what makes us Chi Theta:)

I was also recently accepted for the position of Panhellenic Recruitment Director! I have been so grateful for this opportunity and am so excited to continue supporting each chapter at wku during their recruitment processes.
