Position: I am running for Senator.

Why you want to join SGA: I want to help international students settle down and get involved on campus. Being an international student I understand the difficulties an international student has to face. Many International students at WKU think that their voice does not matter but I it’s not true. Every student here at WKU does matter. I want to make sure that international students at Western do feel involved. I also want to work for the interests of the minorities on campus. I look forward in bringing everyone together and understand his or her needs. I am also interested in bringing up the issues of Organizational Aid and the scholarships university has to offer. I look to maintain better relations with the local community to bring in Aid for the scholarships of students.
What is your main goal for SGA: I believe SGA is a perfect platform where the students can come in together to make a difference. SGA is a platform, which connects students to the administration and students can put forward their demands. By me joining SGA will give a path to international students for their voices to be heard.

Pakistani Student Association - Western Kentucky University endorsed WKU Student Government Association President Jay Todd Richey who's running for re-election as WKU's Student Body President. PSA will fully support and campaign, and request other student organizations (Local and International) to vote for JayTodd Richey, Kate Hart, running for executive VP and Hannah Neeper, running for Administrative VP.
Voting starts at http://topnet.wku.edu on April 18th and 19th.
