Congratulations to Izzie Weedman who will be representing WKU at the 2026 Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival in Pineville, KY. The Kentucky Mountain Laurel takes place each Memorial Day weekend. The event pays tribute to the rich history of southeastern Kentucky while proudly featuring outstanding Queen Candidates from colleges and universities across the state. Each candidate exemplifies class and grace, representing the pride of the commonwealth.

Izzie is a health sciences major from Leitchfield, KY. She is the daughter of Melissa and Darren Weedman. Best of luck to Izzie as she represents WKU! ❤️👑
