Since the 1950s, generations of Bowling Green geology students have taken Field Geology, a long-standing course at BGSU that celebrates its 75th occurrence this year. For many, this course is known as the crystallization of their college experience: the chance to apply their classroom learning to picturesque real-world settings, to learn from professionals in the field and to work as a part of a team.
As part of the BGSU Geology Field Camp, students ascended Mount Yale in Colorado, which is more than 14,000 feet above sea level. 🏔️ Pictured are geology students Jace Hopple, Christopher Foland, Griffin Black and graduate student Justin Rice, who reached the summit alongside their professors and other students.
