We are thrilled to announce that Monroe County Schools has been officially approved by the Kentucky Office of Industry & Apprenticeship Services (OIAS) as an employer of K–12 Teacher Registered Apprentices.
This partnership represents a powerful step toward building a sustainable pipeline of well-prepared, homegrown educators for Monroe County. WKU is honored to collaborate with the district to provide high-quality coursework, structured mentorship, and on-the-job learning experiences that equip aspiring teachers for long-term success.
Monroe County now joins an incredible network of districts partnering with WKU in this innovative statewide initiative:
