Public Health – Seattle & King County has a Career Services position open for a Preparedness Training & Exercise Program Manager (PPM 3). The Training & Exercise Program Manager will lead a comprehensive agency preparedness training and exercise program that advances public health response capabilities in alignment with national standards and requirements. The position includes: managing the agency’s multiyear integrated preparedness plan; developing, implementing, and evaluating innovative learning opportunities; working collaboratively with internal and external partners and stakeholders; and leading activities to bolster a trained public health responder workforce.

Three WKU students were awarded Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) scholarships, and another WKU student was awarded a Freeman Award for Study in Asia (Freeman-ASIA). The recipients were offered scholarships totaling $7,375 for study abroad.
