Our ongoing partnership with Wood County Public Library has been wonderful. It’s important that the flowers we germinate and grow in the greenhouse have a good home. Each September, when we work the Black Swamp Arts Festival, we can see our flowers beautifying the library grounds. Thank you, Daniel!

What a powerful semester in Chapman, and a wonderful semester in RESC 2000: Food Production and Sustainability!

We are planting the Community Garden on May 20th. And we will soon be visited by Daniel, who will retrieve our annual contributions of flowers for the grounds around Wood County Public Library.

Today’s Thrift Fest III event drew 48 vendors and more than 1,900 attendees. Deep thanks to all of our Chapman Family, both graduates and current members, who worked so hard to make it possible.

Chapman students have traditionally been very focused on environmental preservation and sustainability. The amount of fabric alone that was saved from going into the landfill was more than impressive.

Keep an eye out for Thrift Fest IV, coming next year.
