Last week, Olympic College welcomed two special guests from the Suquamish Tribe, Shelleen and Melissa, who taught our students how to make ceviche using local geoduck. Our culinary students put their knife skills to work and learned how to clean and prepare this unique regional ingredient.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with one of our local tribes and provide students with hands-on experience in sustainability, culture, and local food traditions.

Last week our Culinary students had the opportunity to show off their skills by preparing lunch for the Olympic College Foundation's 30th Annual Community Luncheon. Our culinary students prepared 300 plates of Salmon Niçoise Salad for everyone to enjoy. They were also able to practice their hospitality skills throughout the event.
