This is very exciting news! Thank you to all who made it happen!

We are excited to announce that the fund is fully endowed and will be awarded in our next Convention year (2025) to a qualified collegian either studying abroad or in the field of hospitality who resides in Illinois. Thank you to our Illinois Alumnae Chapters for creating the Jennifer Fiolka Memorial Scholarship!

Jenny spent her entire career in the hotel industry, working in multiple positions within hotels, and ending in sales for Marriott Hotels. She excelled at her job, often earning awards as a top sales performer.

She began traveling in earnest as an adult, and from her first international trip, she was hooked. She traveled all over the world and appreciated learning about the local culture, trying the local food, and exploring the local sights.

Jenny had a zest for life and travel, and her friends created the Jennifer Fiolka Memorial Scholarship to carry on her name and love of travel.

Jenny used to joke about sharing a birthday with "JC." In memory of Jenny and of the season, would you consider donating to the scholarship in her name for her beloved sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi? The scholarship will be awarded annually to one AOII woman to support her undergraduate studies in travel or hospitality. We are just under $5000 away from reaching our $25,000 goal to endow the scholarship.
