Meet Emma Motler ’26, using her education to make a difference.

A double major in Legal Studies and Psychology, Emma is passionate about understanding people and advocating for those whose voices may not always be heard. As a member of the executive board of RWU's Mock Trial team, she's developing the critical thinking, communication, and advocacy skills needed to make an impact both in and out of the courtroom.

For Emma, her studies are about more than preparing for a career. They're about standing up for others and helping create meaningful change.

Take a behind-the-scenes look at the creative partnership between Adjunct Professor of Visual Arts Denis Leonti and Graphic Design major Juliet Garcia-Baez as they bring ceramics education to thousands online.

From filming and editing to content strategy and storytelling, this faculty-student collaboration shows what can happen when creativity, expertise, and opportunity come together. Through , they've built a global ceramics community of more than 16,000 followers, connecting artists, students, and makers from around the world.
