With Minneapolis, MN roots and an early interest in healthy foods and lifestyle practices, Nolan was seeking a career path that would allow him to play a part in creating a healthier world. Nolan started his academic career at SDSU as a public health undergraduate student, where he was inspired in a food microbiology course to pursue food science as a master's student to set him apart. ๐ฑ
