Congratulations to our new club officers! The new club officers are:
President - Becca
Vice pres - Emily

On behalf of the old club officers (many of which are graduating) they would like to thank you for your engagement and support over the last year! With the past officers leadership a variety of food science related fun meetings have been held. We can't wait to see what our new leadership team will accomplish!

This Monday we had our holiday themed meeting!

We had amazing rolls, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie and turkey! During this meeting we also got a short presentation from Jonah about the science of pumpkin spice. Hope to see you at our next meeting where we will be having hot coco before finals!

This Monday we met and learned about the amazing science of frozen food while getting to compare the frozen food vs. the un-frozen counterpart!

In addition to this, we met and talked over plans for the IFT FIRST conference trip. Great things are happening at the food science club, stay tuned for more!

Yesterday (Monday 9/8/25) the Food Science Club had the first meeting of the school year! It was a blast; lots of snacks and time to meet each other and reflect on the upcoming semester made the first meeting fun and filling.

We are so thankful for everyone's support with One Day for State! We got both our money and donor goals, which has put us in a great position to reach the IFT: FIRST conference this summer!

Stay tuned for our meeting next month about freezer food!

As a food science club, we're trying to go to the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Chicago Conference. This IFT conference is one of the biggest food science events in the world! This would allow us as a club to experience the very most cutting edge of global food science and Innovation.

One Day for State will be helping to raise funds for this event! We can't wait for your help tomorrow!
