North Hennepin Community College Theater With a rich traditon of producing live theatre for the past 40 years, NHCC Theatre has much to offer our community. We hope to see you soon!

This season is filled with something for everyone: comedy, drama, music, singing, and great entertainment. With a diverse and vibrant community working together to create memorable, high-quality productions, NHCC Theatre is a great place to see wonderful shows performed by exciting local talent. Here people can come together to laugh and cry, debate and discuss, and share what it means to be alive in these difficult, but inspiring times.

Fences opens this Wednesday with a 2pm matinee performance. A guest panel of artists will be available after the performanace to discuss the play. Guest panel members include James Williams (founding member of Penumbra Theatre), Danny Clark (professional actor), Richad D. Howell Jr. (senior pastor of Shiloh Temple International Ministries in Minneapolis), and Whitney Steward Harris (Executive Diretor of Diversity for MCTC).

Nathan Williams (Joe Crowell, Si Crowell, Baseball Player) graduated from Burnett High School in Burnett, Texas. This is his second semester attending NHCC and the first play he has been in. He is quite eager to see how it will turn out. His plan for the future is to complete the generals here at NHCC, and then transfer to the U of M to major in dance. All of his time is spent on school work and dancing.

Mark Stewart (George Gibbs) is a graduate of Elk River High School and he is in his third and final year at NHCC. He will be gradating next spring with an AFA degree in Theatre Arts and an AA degree. Jenny Reierson (Mrs. Gibbs) is currently pursuing her AFA degree in Theatre Arts at NHCC, where she has performed roles in Avenue Q, The Three Musketeers, and Bat Boy. Amanda Miller (Mrs. Webb) graduated from Park Center High School. This is her third year at NHCC, and she plans to graduate with her AA and AFA in the spring. Mitch McIntyre (Mr. Webb) graduated from Champlin Park High School in 2012. After Graduation, he attended the University of St. Thomas for one year, studying Actuarial Science. This is his first semester here at NHCC and his first production here. He is now a Theatre Arts major and wishes to pursue acting professional. Some of his other interests including watching movies, working out, and being involved in sports.
