This week, our campus came together to raise awareness, promote education, and support those affected by breast cancer.

We heard from a breast cancer survivor whose story moved the room, joined in prayer, and were inspired by a spoken-word poem and an incredible dance team performance.

Thank you to all the student clubs for hosting informational tables and sharing resources with our community!

This is what it means to show up for each other.

What a day at St. Francis College!

Thank you to every student and family who joined us for our Fall Open House Showcase. From our Nursing Simulation Labs to conversations with our President, faculty, and students, our guests saw firsthand what makes SFC special. Even parents and their loved ones had the chance to explore our Graduate School of Advanced Studies.

Thank you to our faculty, staff, student ambassadors, and student leaders who showcased the very best of SFC. You are the heart and soul of our SFC Family!

Success is a choice. It’s your choice. Make it SFC.

Yesterday, CSTEP, MMID, SRC and the STEM Clubs came together to host Creation Hour in honor of Franciscan Month!

Students decorated bears, painted, and bonded with one another, then teamed up to make over 150 sandwiches donated to the Brooklyn Heights Community Fridge.

Grateful for the chance to spread kindness, serve the community, and live out the Franciscan spirit of service!

A big thank you to everyone who helped organize this event, and to all the students who came out and made it such a success!

Yesterday, St. Francis College celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a bilingual Mass and cultural luncheon.

The immigrant story is our story. Founded in 1859 by the Franciscan Brothers to educate the children of immigrants in Brooklyn, SFC has spent 167+ years opening doors through education, guided by our values of love, compassion, humility, and service.

It’s who we are. It’s who we’ve always been. And it’s who we will continue to be.

Officially a Sri Chinmoy Peace-Blossom College!!

Yesterday we joined a global family of peace-dedicated places, from Niagara Falls to the Taj Mahal to our own Brooklyn. We were also honored to receive a proclamation from Borough President Antonio Reynoso declaring Franciscan Month in Brooklyn.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in prayer, song, flags, and a Peace Torch walk around the block.

Lord, make us instruments of Your peace.

From Brooklyn to Lima, SFC students put service into action in 1963.

Eight St. Francis College students spent their summer helping build dormitories at a home for 250 boys in Peru. Through Project Peru, students also sent 300 pairs of shoes and ten large cartons of clothing and raised funds for another group to return the following summer.
