GLARE (GLBTQ Advocacy in Research and Education) is an organization founded by faculty in the School of Education which has as its mission the preparation of future educators that are able to foster school climates which affirm the dignity of all. The members of GLARE are interested in collaborating with other BC faculty and staff to confront LGBTQ discrimination in all its forms and to create a c

ampus environment where all students, faculty and staff are welcomed and where all facets of the college's diversity are celebrated. The members of GLARE are interested in collaborating with other BC faculty and staff to confront LGBTQ discrimination in all its forms and to create a campus environment where all students, faculty and staff are welcomed and where all facets of college's diversity are celebrated. GLARE wants to share our main goal for the upcoming years with all of our college community: To make Brooklyn College an “Out and Proud” campus by 2015.
