Patent Pending is an engineering club at NYU Tandon dedicated to helping students prototype, test, a To achieve these goals, we:

1.

If you have an idea, a side project, a curiosity outside of the classroom setting, and want to expand upon it, this is the place for you! Patent Pending enables students to pursue their innovative curiosities beyond the constraints of a classroom setting. This is a club for students who want to take their education to the next level, those who are driven to come out of college ready for both a car

eer and the ability to execute their innovative ideas to truly embody the i2e experience. Patent Pending is designed to help connect its members with faculty, workspace and various resources to help them succeed in their ventures. We offer workshops and networking opportunities to help you gain the knowledge and connections you need. Offer tutorials on academic programs, (ie, C++, python, illustrator, basic EE course...etc)
2. Facilitate faculty and student body connections
3. Provide opportunities for personal research and growth
4. Connect students to various external resources and campus resources
5. Springboard into competitions such as hackathons & Inno/Vention
6. Start the patent process for your brilliant creations! If you have an idea for a workshop to learn a little more about a topic, outside of a classroom setting, feel free to pitch it to us! We love to explore new topics. Message us on Facebook, or dm us on Instagram !

Our annual Patent Pending Hackathon is back! 🚀

Tomorrow, Thursday, April 10, 1:00–2:00pm at Jacobs Academic Building 777 (6 Metrotech Center)!

This 2 week-long hackathon will provide you with the chance to collaborate with other like-minded individuals, develop your technical and creative skills, and create innovative solutions to challenges in various fields. You’ll have access to a range of resources, including mentors, workshops, and industry experts, to help you turn your ideas into reality. Whether you’re a hardware engineer, software developer, or UX designer, or have never even participated in a hackathon before, this hackathon is open to everyone. We encourage participants from all backgrounds and skill levels to join us and unleash their creativity. So mark your calendar for the Kick-Off!
