A huge THANK YOU to everyone who braved the heat and came out for Beef Field Day last weekend! It was a fantastic day of learning and connecting with other producers.

We heard from:
- Dr. Gaby Maier, who shared about pinkeye treatment and prevention at the chute (and even practiced on a few steers)
- Dan Macon, who discussed pasture management, carrying capacity, and virtual fencing
- Tracy Schor and Dr. Lais Costa, who emphasized the importance of contingency planning and wildfire preparedness

We wrapped up the day with a delicious lunch at the Yuba River Pavilion, sponsored by the Tahoe Cattlemen's Association.

Weโ€™re grateful to everyone who made it possible, and we hope to see you again soon!
