The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley was created under the slogan “We Will Inspire the World.” For the first time in the history of the universities of the Rio Grande Valley, the recently founded UTRGV has made it possible to give its students the opportunity to go beyond our region to expand their knowledge and potential to serve not only our nation, but the international community as well.
In a world where turmoil is pervasive Political Science students are trying every day to contribute in order to find solutions through the Rio Grande Valley Model United Nations Club. Our University has provided the future leaders of our area with the prospect to go to New York City in March 2017 to participate in the National Model United Nations Conference. This event will provide our students an exceptional chance to share their ideas with the world while giving them unique international experience regarding topics relevant to current events.
Sixteen students from our University are preparing to go to New York to show the world that UTRGV was created for great accomplishments. Will you help us achieve our mission?
