Psi Chi at The University of Texas at Brownsville International Psychology Honor Society. Meetings: Wednesday 9:00am Rm 263 South, Behavioral Sciences Lab.

Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Psi Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS). Psi Chi m

embers may attend national and regional conventions, held yearly. Some chapters provide information on graduate study in psychology and assist members in the graduate school application process. Tutoring, community service, and social events are also common activities of Psi Chi chapters.

HELLO EVERYONE!! Summer is officially OVER! Tomorrow many of you are entering your last semester or two as undergraduates while many of you are entering your first semester as graduate students!!! Hello Psi Chi!!

I hope everyone has been having a wonderful summer so far!

We are having a meeting next week Thursday June 7, 2012 at 10am at the school Starbucks/BookStore outside on the patio. We will discuss research topics and other future projects for the upcoming Fall and Spring semesters! Hope to see everyone there and if you have a friend interested in joining, please bring them along!! Any friends that are close to joining are also welcome to come by!!
