Howard Payne University acquired a trailer through a grant awarded by the Texas Pioneer Foundation. The Howard Payne University Mobile Go Center is a 42-foot trailer with the purpose to support outreach and information delivery to students, families, community members, and religious organizations. The Mobile Go Center will assist in the recruitment efforts of the Office of Admissions and increase
higher education awareness throughout the state. The Mobile Go Center is fully equipped with two air conditioners/heaters, laptop computers, and a satellite internet connects for wireless connectivity. The Mobile Go Center is able to visit high schools, middle schools, community events and festivals, and churches. The Mobile Go Center provides a setting in which students, families, and community members can feel comfortable in asking questions and receiving assistance in the initial process of college preparation. Howard Payne University’s Mobile Go Center provides valuable resources in college admissions and financial aid applications. The Mobile Go Center has programs available for students to use as tools for career exploration and to determine the education required for each career.
