Open Access Week is October 20-26th 2025, themed "Who owns our knowledge?". Bowdoin Library supports open access publishing options for researchers and scholars at Bowdoin. ⁠

Started in 2008 by SPARC (the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition) and the international open access community, the week highlights the benefits of removing paywalls and sharing knowledge globally.
