Here is a little bit about Ed:
A graduate of the Academy of the New Church Boys School, Edmond earned an Associate of Arts degree from Bryn Athyn College of the New Church in 1983 before receiving bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering, as well as an MBA, from University of Michigan.
He recently retired after a 35-year career in the automotive industry in Detroit, where he held senior leadership roles in engineering, product management, and corporate finance. He most recently served as CFO of Vandor Group, Inc. and President of Chazal Enterprises, his business consulting firm.
A longtime member and treasurer of Oak Arbor New Church and School in Rochester, Michigan, Edmond has served in numerous leadership roles within the General Church and currently serves on the Academy of the New Church Board of Trustees, the College Executive Committee, and the Academy Finance Committee. He also teaches a business course at the Theological School, serves on several boards, and is a licensed private pilot.
Edmond and his wife, Kimberly, have three children, including one member of this year’s graduating class and another currently attending the College.
