“There is something about being a Mawrter that transcends personal interests, professional interests, time, geography, generations," says Saskia Subramanian ’88, M.A. ’89. "Some of my dearest friends are in their 20s, and some of them are in their 90s. That, to me, is meaningful and very special.”
Subramanian—who took over as Board Chair on June 1st—has held many roles at the College over the past 30 years, from student to volunteer to Trustee. Hear how those shifting roles transformed her relationship with her alma mater in the Bulletin magazine:
