Welcome future alumni!!

West Virginia Wesleyan College is welcoming more than 400 new students for the 2026-2027 academic year — a 20%+ increase in new student enrollment and our largest freshman class in more than five years!

This incoming class has plenty to celebrate:

🎓 75% increase in new students from Upshur County
⭐ 70%+ growth in West Virginia PROMISE Scholars
📚 Approximately 90 students with a 4.0 GPA or higher
🌎 Students from 28 states and 23 countries
🩺 Pre-nursing leads intended majors as WVWC celebrates a 100% first-time NCLEX pass rate for its Class of 2026

We can’t wait to welcome our newest Bobcats — and all returning students — to campus for Orientation Weekend, Aug. 22-23!
