Theta Tau, Mu Gamma Chapter

Theta Tau is the nation's largest and foremost co-ed professional engineering fraternity open to all engineering students.

Theta Tau is the oldest, largest, and foremost Fraternity for Engineers. Since its founding at the University of Minnesota in 1904, over 30,000 have been initiated over the years. With emphasis on quality and a strong fraternal bond, the Fraternity has chapters only at ABET accredited schools and limits the number of student members in any one of its chapters across the nation. This past Saturday the Mu Gamma Chapter of Theta Tau hosted the Northeast Regional Conference at the University at Buffalo. It was an incredible experience to organize a conference dedicated to spreading ideas on how to become a better chapter, a better professional, and create a larger professional network.

We want to thank our faculty advisor, and all the alumni that came back and participated in the alumni panel and presented, without your dedication to the fraternity the event would not have been as successful.

We are grateful for all the members that attended from other universities and members from the Mu Gamma chapter that helped organize the conference.

Our chapter had the honor of hosting the Rho Beta chapter this weekend from Ohio University! We had a great time sharing ideas between our chapters’ committees and getting to know our brothers from Ohio. A huge thank you to the Rho Beta brothers for driving all the way to Buffalo for the visit! We hope to see them again soon ⚙️
