Lambda Kappa Sigma (ΛΚΣ) is an international professional pharmacy fraternity dedicated to provide lifelong opportunities for women in pharmacy.

Lambda Kappa Sigma - Alpha Theta chapter was established since 1952 at University of Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences with co-ed membership, known for their distinguished pharmacy leaders and community-outreach initiatives. Their core values include sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, service, and underlying all core values, integrity, with a mission to provide provide lifel

ong opportunities for women in pharmacy. Throughout the school year, we developed many opportunity for our current members to grow through networking opportunities with other alumni and current members and at various social events, such as the Halloween costume contest and Winter holiday celebrations. We build upon service by providing wellness clinics and service events such as Fall Back on Track, which focuses on educating students in the residence halls regarding living a healthy lifestyle and Spring into Health that promotes wellness for the elder population in a long term care setting. In addition, LKS hosts a variety of professional workshops and distinguished speakers throughout the year to our sisters to develop leadership skills and career development.

LKS is having purple pancreatic cancer fundraiser pins in honor of Pam Coniglio, who unfortunately passed away from pancreatic cancer back in March 2022. If you would like, you can make an additional donation. All proceeds will be going to https://pancan.org/

Let’s finish the week off with bowling! The tickets will be $18 at the door and all proceeds will go towards Project HOPE! By participating this event, you will enter with 2 entries for raffle tickets for $25 gift card which will be drawn after bowling! 🎟
