The Florida Department of Health in Flagler County has issued a Blue-Green Algae Alert due to harmful toxins found in a water sample taken May 28.

⚠️ Avoid contact with water
⚠️ Keep pets and livestock away
⚠️ Do not drink, swim, or use watercrafts in affected areas

Check with your local Cooperative Extension office or 4-H program to find out how you can participate in or support the Barnyard Challenge. Whether through volunteering, mentoring, or cheering on participants, there’s a role for everyone!
