Allen Community College Phi Theta Kappa

Allen Community College Phi Theta Kappa Phi Theta Kappa is a two-year college honor society. Allen Community College has a chapter on the Burlingame, KS campus.

The Burlingame Phi Theta Kappa chapter is devoted to helping students achieve academic excellence. Our chapter primarily supports the transfer scholarship program on our campus, as well as sending students to the All-Kansas Academic Team. We are currently sponsoring a recycling program on campus, and have in the past worked with the Wounded Warrior Project and other organizations.

We haven't been able to do much this year, but we are still sponsoring KNI for Christmas! Instead of our annual bake sale, we are doing a gift tree. Stop by the commons on the Burlingame campus to pick up and fill an envelope. Return the envelope to the front desk. We are also accepting mailed donations. Make checks payable to Allen Community College. Contact the Burlingame campus (785-654-2416) and ask to speak with a PTK adviser for questions.

Due to the recent COVID-19 closings and cancellations, we will not be hosting a spring 2020 induction ceremony for new PTK members. However, if you received a letter, you are still welcome to join. Right now, we only have the online option for payment at ptk.org. Please email an adviser if you have lost your code.

All new spring 2020 inductees are also invited to attend or participate in the fall 2020 induction ceremony, regardless of whether or not you have graduated. The date has not been set, but will be held in October or November. Please email an adviser for further information.

We need your help to meet our fundraising goal! We are still short in our donation to the Kansas Neurological Institute, so we are extending the bake sale into next week. We need your help! Our annual fundraiser begins Monday, November 26 in support of KNI. We need volunteers to bake goods for our bake sale, and serve chili during the lunch hour Monday through Wednesday. Contact an adviser if you can help.
