University of Vermont TREK

University of Vermont TREK TREK is an intense and unique team-building and enrichment program for first-year students led by experienced peers.

Sponsored by the Department of Student Life, TREK has offered new students diverse, experiential learning opportunities that promote community building, self-discovery, and connection with future classmates for over 40 years. Each trip is led by two experienced student leaders who lead between 8-10 new students on a week of service projects or out-in-the-back-country of Vermont and upstate New Yor

k adventures. This August, we will welcome more than 250 TREKKIES from the incoming - and we hope you will be one of them. TREK takes place the week prior to the official University of Vermont move-in date for new students.
